Maitai Rangiroa er staðsett á milli þorpanna Avatoru og Tiputa, við eitt stærsta lón á suðurhveli jarðar. Excellent hotel with an equally excellent restaurant on-site. I also spent a lot of times at my friends hotel, the Kia Ora, and we both agreed that the Maitai was nicer at half the price.

Raira Lagon snýr að ströndinni og býður upp á 2 stjörnu gistirými í Avatoru með ókeypis reiðhjólum, garði og verönd. The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful.

Te Mao er staðsett í Avatoru og er með garð, verönd, vatnaíþróttaaðstöðu og ókeypis WiFi. Öll herbergin eru með svalir. I like the sea view, the quiet time to relax and snorkle. The possibilities to rent a bike and the owner being so nice driving me around to grocery store and airport.

Chez Taia et Véro er staðsett í Tiputa og býður upp á garðútsýni, grillaðstöðu, garð og ókeypis afnot af kajökum og reiðhjólum. Ókeypis WiFi er til staðar. Chez taia et véro is exceptional! Taia and véro are lovely hosts and will make sure you feel 100% comfortable. The breakfast is plenty and the place is spacious and clean. Awesome location, 1minute from the ocean, very quite. Taia made us one night dinner and it was soooo delicious. I recommend to stay there. If we find ourselves in tiputa again, we will stay with taia and véro again.

We were staying at a new apartment and we loved the style and handmade decorations. What is really special about that place is the owner- she makes the best ambience, take care of the guests herself and goes far beyond the expectations. Also best breakfast we had during our stay in French Polinesia.

Perfect for paddleboarding, snorkeling, water walking. Easy walk to restaurants. Owners are super friendly have lived here for decades. They know everyone and it was easy to book excursions through them. The bungalow is brand new. Quiet location and great A/C and kitchenette. The owners have taken alot of pride in the bungalow and it shows. Fresh passion fruit and baguette brought every morning for breakfast!

Chez Guy, vue sur l'océan er staðsett í Tiputa og býður upp á garð og ókeypis reiðhjól. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. We expected our stay in Tiputa to be slightly off the beaten path - and it was, for the best of it! The property is at the "remote" end of the village, on the ocean shore - enjoy the noise of breakers during the night! First floor, nice view. No light pollution - enjoy the view of the Milky Way at night. Beyond the beauty of Rangiroa (expected), we were warmly welcome by the owner's family, who did everything to make us feel at home. Bread, butter, jam were offered for breakfast, and the "restaurant" they recommended was... the neighbor's yard, with 4 tables and a "beware of the dog" sign on the porch. The dog is nice and well-behaved, the cook very friendly and focused on healthy local dishes with fresh (garden-plucked) ingredients, which were outstanding (and more than decently priced)! Thank you for everything, this was a highlight of our vacation in Tahiti.

Great location. The host and their family were very friendly, helpful and thoughtful people. We would definitely recommend staying there. They also offer excursions. This place is beautiful, very comfortable and extremely well located. I was in both of the high-end hotels on Rangiroa during my stay, and I felt that Rangiroa Cottage was just as nice. If you prefer the independence of staying in a home, then this is a far superior option. On top of that, it is much cheaper.

The reception was warm and caring. When I left the lady who dropped me off to the airport gave me a flower necklace and I felt warm with this gift. The support in terms of tips and care was exceptional. They even have bikes available to use, which was my transport in the island. The place is ideal for solo traveler or a couple, is a studio with all you need and everything clean and modern.There are close restaurants and market but the beach is a bit faraway to go by bike.
