The garden is beautiful and there is a delicious and filling breakfast.

Every room has a beautiful mountain view and the rooms are also very clean. They have cable TV and the showers have hot water. (Just make sure to ask for a blow dryer as they are not placed in the rooms). The breakfast was also good (bread, eggs, butter, jam, juice, tea, and instant coffee). The location is great, being near the square, the hotsprings, and other canyon activities.

Located in Yanque, 6.5 miles from Bus Station, Hotel Puerta del Sol Colca provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. A brand new hotel with superb views over the Colca Canyon. The restaurant overlooking the valley and mountains beyond is very good, with the alpaca dishes being particularly tasty. There was a better than average selection for breakfast, and service was attentive but not intrusive. The barman (whose name I didn't catch, sadly) mixes a very decent Pisco Sour. There is parking to the rear of the building. The staff (particularly Gaudi the receptionist/concierge) were friendly and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great time. Apparently there is a also sauna, but we didn't use it. The room was very comfortable, with an open (gas) fire and spa bath,. The kettle was a welcome addition.

It was clean, quiet, comfortable and conveniently located (easy walk to main square but far enough to be quiet). The staff (Lisbeth) was especially helpful and accommodating, allowing me to pay in dollars and making a very good breakfast early (5:40am) just for me.

One of the nicest hotels I've been to away from the coastal areas of Peru. Brand new hotel with a lovely interior, spacious rooms. Clean, comfortable, breakfast was delicious and served with a great view of the surrounding mountains and hills.

Located in Chivay, a 5-minute walk from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Sonqo Killa del Colca has accommodations with a shared lounge and private parking. Not only the room was comfortable and inexpensive, but the gentleman at front desk was very caring and helpful. Prior evening I asked him if there were any stores near by that sold fruits. He said they would be closed at that hour. Next day morning, the breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and I had a tour that was to pick me up at 6:30. So I was going to skip the breakfast. But he prepared a fruit plate for me and knocked my door at 6:15 for breakfast.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, hot shower and amazing breakfast. The owner was very nice, she helped us with information and organized for us a tour to Colca canyon. Highly recommended place to stay.

La Casa de Santiago Hotel offers accommodations in Cabanaconde. A semi buffet breakfast is served daily with local organic products. The property was very clean and equipped with modern appliances. We were pleasantly surprised to see that this hotel in a small town even offered hair dryers! The owner was also very friendly and helpful.
