Featuring barbecue facilities, Los Balcones Over The Sea is located in Bocas Town in the Isla Colon region, a few steps from Carenero Beach. The owners are French and South African and are very nice and super helpful !! It’s nice to have hosts that speak French, English and Spanish. Everything was clean, good firm bed, big room with balcony, no bed bugs. The breakfast was amazing, you get to choose between pancakes, toasts or a local fried bread + scrambled eggs, vegetable & cheese omelet or Sunny side up + fruit + coffee, tea & orange juice. Perfect location on the opposite island a 2min and 1$ boat ride from the main city which makes it less noisy (big party area in the main city). Great value for money !!

Amazing B&B, probably one of the best we have ever been. We definitely recommend and would come back anytime. Ania and Gabriel are amazing hosts, always kind and caring. You can completely rely on them for anything, from restaurant advices to trip bookings Breakfasts are great too. The location is also perfect. You can hop on any passing water taxi to go to other islands, Bocas being only two minutes away. Although it’s pretty close, the ambiance in Riva is way different, calm and chilled out, so you basically have the best of both worlds.

Such a cute place. Great for relaxing during the day and having fun at night (good for hanging out with the Friday crowd without having to pay for the whole thing). Staff was amazing and very friendly. Lots of spots to sit and chill too!!

Located over the sea on Carenero Island, the Faro del Colibri features a unique aqua-style with a private beach area, wooden docks, free Wi-Fi throughout the property and activities such as... Photos don’t do this place justice. It’s absolute paradise! The room is much nicer in person. The view is absolutely gorgeous. It’s nice being a bit further away from Bocas town, but a $1 water taxi away, so easy enough to get over there. There are a few great restaurants and cafes on the island, easy access to other islands. All the amenities you need are available. Breakfast was exceptional. Management was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Located in Carenero, Casa Acuario Boutique Hotel offers beachfront accommodations 1.7 mi from Y Griega Beach and provides various facilities, such as a restaurant, a bar and a private beach area. We loved this boutique hotel. We never had the breakfast but the freedom allowed at the hotel was great. Coffee was available in the mornings, free of charge. In the evening, we were able to help ourselves to ice or glasses that we needed to make our own cocktails. The staff, specifically Ariel, and his dog Lobo, was great. He was very friendly and helpful. We loved that the hotel was so laid back, so close to Bocas Town, and yet had restaurants nearby that we could easily walk to. The view from the deck of our hotel room was great. And the owner, Mandy, was very helpful even though she was not at the hotel during our stay. If we ever come back we will stay at this hotel again.
