Perched 2000 metres above sea level, Alila Jabal Akhdar is an ultra-luxurious resort with views of the Al Hajar Mountains. The resort is a wonderful getaway from the city. They had plenty of food options that were all delicious. The activities arranged were fun and relaxing such as the sunset yoga, meditation and star gazing. The outdoor spa was a lovely experience. We went rock climbing for the first time and the guide Mohammed was great in making the experience enjoyable and made us feel safe as it was our first time rock climbing.

Great view on the mountain with perfect sunset. Very friendly host who welcomed us and spoke about the village. Great traditional Omani food for dinner and breakfast.
