Luxurious looking rooms with a central location in Wellington. The long entryway in the room is a great concept more hotel need to employ as it cuts you off from some of the hallway noise, and gives a nice little kitchen/desk space area. Very comfortable beds, great bathroom. The complimentary snacks/drinks in the room were a great surprise as Americans used to those sort of things costing extra in hotel rooms. Very responsive and helpful owners.

For an addl 50 NZ$ I was able to check in early and got the room on the ground level. Since I stayed 4 nights, it was fantastic because I had a great kitchenette and washer dryer in large bathroom. Complementary continental breakfast was a big plus and it was around the corner to Te Papa museum and next door to a delicious Cantonese restaurant.

We had a lovely stay. It is located downtown so walking is easy to wherever you need to go. We LOVED the washer and dryer in the unit. Recommended!

Situated in Wellington's CBD, Doubletree By Hilton Wellington offers guests a city escape, just 450 metres from the waterfront. Everything. Location - very central, still quiet inside room. The front desk receptionist (Indian guy from UP, can't remember the name) was excellent and very helpful. Also they let us do early check in. The breakfast was also excellent. The price was also relatively better compared to other smaller hotels. You just add a bit extra to get all the extra comforts. Worth it.
