This was our best accomodation out of our trip around Southland. Apartment was well appointed, clean and super close to both Queens Park and the CBD. We also rented a car from them - a great hybrid with loads of boot space! They arranged airport transfers for us too so we could just collect the car then John drove us to the airport the day we left. We will definitely stay again when next in Invercargill.

What a surprise! I am not sure what I expected, but this hotel exceeded them. From the welcome to the easy check-in to the wonderful rooms and the dinner and breakfast in the morning. This will be our go-to hotel in Southland from now on. Stunning.

The property is just across the street from the beach in Oban. It has a bar and cafe on premise which I enjoyed.

Spacious comfortable and clean rooms, the property is in a great location surrounded by nature but very close to the town. The hosts were so friendly helpful and attentive made our stay much better just with their great service.

We loved the lake view from our room! Such a great location; we were within walking distance from Te Anua.

Friendly staff, easy check in, great views, clean rooms. Importantly hot water and good shower pressure. Great value.

Everything is perfect. Stuffs are nice. I arrived later than planned and lady in reception organised my late check-in. The room is enormous large than I imagine, clean and in good condition, living room is cosy with sofa, kitchen is well equipped with pans, knives and scissors, bedroom is big and the bed is comfortable. Bathroom is also large with bathtub, toilette is separed. I am lucky to have a room face to the lovely backyard garden, very relaxing.

Huge spacious suite with mezzanine bedroom, great self catering set up, but mostly the staff were superb - very welcoming and helpful and allowed us to leave bags when we went hiking.

A gorgeous property with incredible views. A definite highlight of our trip, was sitting on the front lawn taking in the mountains, lake and pasture of cows to the side of the property. Sitting in the main room in front of the fireplace chatting with the owner was also a highlight.

Invercargill improved so much since we were last there and the hotel is perfectly located to go shopping or to roam around the city centre. We really loved the bar of this hotel and also the breakfast was simply perfect. We will definitively come back if and when we travel to Invercargill again

There was a separate room for the bed. I also liked that they provided plates and cups.

We had a three-bedroom, two bathroom unit (apartment 51) and it was super comfortable. The location is very close to all town restaurants.
