Located in Punakaiki, a few steps from Punakaiki Beach, Punakaiki Rocks Hotel & Garden Bar provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The room was very comfortable and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Wine was pretty good as well

Wonderful secluded beach cottage in forest setting 15 minutes south of Punakaiki. Pleasant 10 minute walk to beach. All necessary conveniences with comfortable bed and well-stocked kitchenette. Nice hot tub a minute walk away, shared with the other nearby cottage.

The hosts are the kindest people we have met on our journey up the west coast, the facility’s and location of the stay was excellent. If you are travelling up the west coast I would say this is the place to stay on the trip.

Lots of thought and effort had gone into making the breakfast very appealing and appetising. Greatly appreciated! The surrounding location was beautiful and we were glad that our hosts gave us some recommendations to view that we would most certainly have missed otherwise.
