It’s a great spot well worth the extra 6km cycle off the trail to get there for those doing the TT. An oasis in the middle of dense bush. Rachael and Mark are fabulous hosts. We will be back.

Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. beautiful views, comfortable bed and beddings were just right, excellent service and beautiful food and they were very flexible allowing us to stay long in the morning while we waited for the rain to stop before leaving the motel to start our hike. the community kitchen was comfortable and it had everything that we need to use. the toilets were so clean and showers just right.

Suncourt Hotel & Conference Centre offers spectacular views of Lake Taupo and the volcanoes of Tongariro National Park. the location was nice next to the lake. plenty of parking spaces. the room was big. the staff friendly.

Hilton Lake Taupo includes free pool and gym access and features views over Lake Taupo and is just minutes away from the town centre. It is a 15-minute drive from Taupo Airport. Room was very clean and inviting, Very comfy bed with very clean and modern bathroom, Meals were very good and tasty, very accommodating staff and willing to help at any time, staff ensuring that you are happy and well looked after

This Millennium Hotel and Resort is located right on the edge of Lake Taupo. It offers luxury accommodation and facilities that include a heated pool, sauna, gym and tennis court. nice view of the lake convenient location. Staff was really nice and helpful. Food was delicious

The Powderhorn Chateau is situated in Ohakune, at the entrance to Tongariro National Park. It is very nice hotel and staff are friendly

Lakeland Resort is situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Taupo. Set on 2.8 acres of landscaped grounds, this resort boasts a tennis court, an on-site restaurant and a seasonal outdoor swimming... Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed the view from our apartment!

Located on the shore, the Lakefront Lodge Taupo offers spectacular lake views and free WiFi access. It has an outdoor swimming pool. Clean, comfortable , helpful with late checkin and early checkout, great hottub! Good value. Restaurant looked lovely ... would try it out next time
