The large apartment had a separate bedroom and a well-appointed kitchen. The location is just south of Haast, which is very central for exploring the Haast region and a convenient stopping location between Queenstown and the glacier region. The scenery is spectacular with rugged mountains covered in dense native New Zealand forests and wetlands along the coastal fringe.
