New in 2019, this 5-star boutique hotel is ideally located on Victoria Street in the city of Christchurch, among a variety of cafes, restaurants and bars. this hotel was just beautiful with lovely, well appointed rooms. surprised and delighted by many of the small and unexpected touches such as shower fragrance bombs and fancy coffee pods.

I have no expectations for only 1 night stay near the airport. but this hotel impressed me with his fantestic food and restaurant, hospitality and convenient location, well maintained facilities. Again this is a family operated hotel with 50 years history, you know their story by seeing the photos in the hotels. overall it is an excellent hotel, just like a home away from home, I will definitely come back! thank you.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful & professional.

The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the space and variety of places to sit to read when not distracted by the view. The weather all over NZ was atrocious, so we went with plenty to keep us entertained, but none of it needed. While the rest of Canterbury shivered and dealt with the rain and gale force winds, we strolled about Akaroa spotting birds and enjoying mild winter sun.

We booked a cabin for 3 nights. Us and our 2yr old and 4yr old. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It has a lovely little deck area then onto a lawn which was perfect for the children. A playground in the main camping area also fab. Toilets and showers really close. Everything was clean and the owners are lovely. We had such a great time.

We just stay here for 4-5 hours before heading to airport at 3.00 a.m. For short stay it is comfortable and the check in procedure is easy (mailbox). however it is quite hard for us to find the rooms since there is no road sign or rooms numbers sign in each road so it took us for a while to locate all 3 houses that we booked since the number of the house can't be seen clearly since we arrive at night. the rest is superb
