And the wine accompaniment to each course were well chosen. Lastly, the activities guided by Ville were very enjoyable and appropriate for my fitness & adventure level.

Surrounded by the Arctic wilderness, Snowhotel Kirkenes stands as a testament to innovation and adventure, offering an unforgettable experience year-round. It is a once in a lifetime experience with the ice sculptures, bar, lighting and beds on a block of ice. The staff went into detail in how to get comfortable in your sleeping bags to ensure maximum comfort. The breakfast was good and so was the dinner. Waking up in the morning, it is time to get into the sauna to get your body temperature up followed by a shower and a hot breakfast. The staff were excellent in ensuring that we did not miss our shuttle service to the Hurtigruten ship.

Yggdrasil Farmhotel Retreat, Spa & Yoga is located on Kvaløya island, 50-minutes drive from central Tromsø. Free WiFi access is available at the farm. Really cozy hotel, clean rooms, and amazing views. The food was also really good with locally sourced products and the onwers were really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a peacefull and relaxing stay

This property offers traditional fishing cottages. Some have sea view (harbore) some have bay view (bay is small amount of water, where boats can not go) and some have village view. The history of the village was mind blowing The cabins interiors were so nice and cosy. You could find everything you needed. The team at the resort were all lovely . Mattej was fabulous and so helpful . We also had the most wonderful massage with Annette. We can’t wait to return and explore some more next year.
