A nice place in a convenient location - both if you have a rented car or if you use public transport. As for details - I stayed in an apartment with a sea view (apartment for two people). I know the Tromsø area well, so when choosing Steam Pier I knew where it was located and how to get to places such as the airport, etc. My apartment was in the main building (let's say - "the brown one"), which is shown in the photos. The room and bathroom were very clean. Everything was ok, but I agree with other people's comments - there is a bit of a lack of storage space - if the assumption was that there was no space for a wardrobe or a chest of drawers in the room, it would be nice to equip the apartment with at least some hangers (in the apartment I lived in, there were hangers placed on the bathroom door - ok for jackets, but not enough ;)). It would probably increase the comfort during longer stays - for me (stay for 1 night) it didn't matter that much. But regardless - Steam Pier is a very nice place, with its own parking lot, and check-in is super easy. As for the views - they are one of the biggest advantages:) I recommend!

Very nice and cozy apartment, perfect for a couple who wants to also have some meals inside and maybe cook a little. Very clean and warm. Useful parking space reserved specially for the apartment.

Located on the waterfront, this property is situated in Ersfjordbotn in the Troms Region. Tromsø city centre is 21 km away. I didn't expect that the apartment that I rent was that big. It is excellent and it face directly to the sea (west). The place is not totally isolated, there are some houses nearby. Still, you will need a car. The bed is okay, just the top bunk bed is squeaky. Other facility is also work like brand new. If you have the intention to catch the aurora, it will not be as easy as going out to your balcony and saw one. In most of the time, you will need to go to a slightly remote area. The balcony facing west when normally aurora spread from north to south. You can walk a bit in the neighbourhood but behind the apartment, there's a hill that will block the way. Again, it might not always happened likat what I describe. You must have your car and hunt the aurora to a dark area where there is no light. And, if you stay here, we are only talking about 2 to 10 Km away to find such location.

Cozy apartment close to nature, Kvaloya asub Tromsø ülikoolist 11 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. The location is within a 5-minute walking distance from Stroleva Skistadion and a beautiful hike to Rødtinden mountain. If you like spending your time actively, it's a perfect place. The apartment was waiting for us with a key in the door so we could enter it whenever we wanted. The kitchen was fully equipped, including basic seasoning, olive oil, tea, baking paper, and plastic bags. The host was very responsive whenever we needed something.

Great host and great location. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place and will stay there again when I'm back in Tromso!
