Situated along Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers views of Folgefonna Glacier, indoor and outdoor pools, along with a private beach area. Wi-Fi access and private parking are both free. Highly recommend if you pass through Fläm and Voss, the hotel is a little gem in the mountains very close to the fjord. The entertainment facilities are great. Super nice swimming pool, pool table, tennis, squash… you name it here the hotel has them all!

This hotel is in Øystese Village, on the shore of the Hardangerfjord. It offers a restaurant and for additional cost pool and sauna access. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and some feature a balcony. The view from the hotel was spectacular. It was a quick and easy drive to Nordheimsund, which is where many tours take off. Like many other hotels in Norway, there is a wide and excellent selection for breakfast. Something for everyone. We had to leave earlier on our final morning before the start of breakfast but they had everything set out for us to self-serve. The restaurant was delicious but a bit pricey. This is typical of Norway, however. The pool at the connecting sports facility was convenient and fun.

Brakanes Hotel is located on the shores of the Hardanger Fjord in Ulvik. The hotel restaurant features a buffet and a la carte menu of local dishes. Free WiFi is included. The location and the view were exceptional!! The restaurant was very good and the staff were very helpful. It was a beautiful place to stay. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the fjord. It has big verandas with seating for socializing before and after dinner particularly.

Situated by the Hardangerfjord, this family-run hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Ulvik village. It offers a large furnished terrace, free WiFi and a variety of accommodation options. My family and I (3 children) stayed in a house next to the hotel. This is a separate apartment for all you need. With a separate entrance and privacy. The house is huge, one of the biggest I've seen. 5 beautiful and spacious bedrooms. There is an amazing view of the fjord from the house. The parents' main bedroom is also large and luxurious. With lots of closets and a view of a river. Huge and well equipped kitchen. A huge balcony overlooks one of the most beautiful fjords we have seen. In a 2 minute walk you reach the fjord. Easy access to the water. You can enter or fish. The service at the hotel was professional, generous and helped us with every question and consultation. He also recommended us for trips around Ulvik. There is also a huge games room near the reception. And a huge trampoline outside. We will definitely be back!

With an idyllic location by the Hardangerfjord, this elegant hotel features traditional décor, a waterfront garden and free Wi-Fi. The impressive Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away. The apartment we used for our family of five was very clean and comfortable, with all the necessary ammenities to cook supper. The beautiful view on the fjord was an added bonus. Breakfast was very good.

Situated in a late 19th century Art Noveau-style building overlooking the Måbø Valley, Fossli Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms. Vøringsfossen Waterfall is next to the hotel. Excellent facilities, staff, location, etc. Full marks for a memorable stay!

Hardanger House has free bikes, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Jondal. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a sauna. Hardanger House is an exceptional place. Everything was extraordinary, great attention to details. The food was the best that I've ever had in Norway! They have an excellent chef, great wine and whiskey choices. Friendly and genuinely sincere staff. Top notch, HIGHLY recommended.
