Situated in Heerlen, 16 km from Aachener Soers Equitation Stadium, Hotel de Rousch features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This was absolutely fantastic. The room (free upgrade!) was a suite with the largest hotel bed I have ever encountered in Europe, a widescreen tv with Chromecast nonetheless, and a wide extra space with a desk, drawers, a walk in shower with a glorious rain-shower head, a separate toilet and a massive fancy sink for washing up. The ladies at the hotel desk were really kind, and so was the madam hosting the breakfast session. The breakfast is a full warm and cold buffet, absolutely worth its price. It was my first time out of the country after two years of pandemic and I couldn't have been more comfortable. I even wanted to stay longer!

The Boutique Villa de Proosdij is a place that can offer a unique experience. The room was very cosy and spacious. During breakfast we had the chance to hear the husband of the owner playing the piano. The owner is very attentive and friendly.

Hotel Kasteel Terworm is a luxurious 4-star Superior hotel set in a 14th century castle surrounded by French rococo gardens and nature park. Location is great. The view sitting in the outside-restaurant was great and very nice. Room are really enjoyable as it looks as if you are in the old days.

In the heart of a beautiful nature area in Limburg, near the German border, is a 16th century farm house. This hotel features free WiFi. Lovely scenery, including the own vineyard. Excellent restaurant, we dined twice. It was excellent. Quality rooms. Friendly personnel.
