Set in a 15th-century building, Prinsenhof offers individually decorated rooms. It features the Prinsenhof Gardens, a renaissance-style courtyard with a landscaped rose and herb garden. The hotel was located in a quiet corner of Groningen old city. It is a former monastery that is surrounded by gardens and within walking distance of the Martini Tower and the old town. I really enjoyed my room that had a great view of the garden. It was spacious and comfortable and had a great bathroom attached. I also enjoyed the minibar which was included. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautifully designed rooms with very tasteful style and decor. The room I was assigned had a great balcony overlooking the canal. Great views and perfectly located in the heart of the old town. Will definitely visit again and stay in the same hotel.

Friendly staff, superb location, huge jacuzzi, very comfortable bed. Could get a bit loud as it's on really busy street, my windows faced the street and rowdy bar goers were a bit too much, however hotel is great. Will definetely stay here again.
