Stunning island setting with view to Isletas and towards Mount Mombacho on the other side of the island. It felt magical as we were the sole visitors. The room was well appointed and luxurious. A shame our hi-tech shower had no hot water, for this price I expect a high end bathroom experience, the water was cold the mini bar was empty and no tea/coffee making facility. The staff however were friendly.

Isleta El Espino is a private island in Lake Nicaragua, just outside of the colonial city of Granada. It features an outdoor pool and a restaurant on site. Beautiful little island, lush and with great views. Staff is super helpful and kind. Only a few cabanas on the island, so it's really tranquil. Nice swimming pool, good food. Only 10min by boat (they pick you up) from the harbour. Would recommend coming here!

This place really felt like home away from home. The room is probably the biggest we’ve had in the last 3 months of travel, it has air con and it’s super clean. The hosts are amazing people!!
