The guide ( Mr Ureera ) is very knowledgable ( plants @ birds ). The walk was about 8 km and took 3.5 hours. As we only could start 8.15 it was a bit hot at the end ( more than 30 degree).

Situated in the Etendeka Concession Area at the foot of the Grootberg Mountains, this rustic and eco-friendly camp features tented accommodation, an outdoor pool safari opportunities. We had an incredible time at Etendeka. A very special place. The staff were amazing from the owner to the guides and hospitality staff - so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, nature and wildlife. The food was delicious and just what was needed before and after some great activities which included nature walks and drives. A unique and special place and we cannot wait to return. Thank you so much to a very special team at Etendeka.

Palmwag Campsite offers camping facilities near Palmwag. Campers have access to the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities. Very nice and useful staff. Nice location in the middle of nowhere. Dishwasher located in every camping place
