The Host Petro was absolutely fantastic and made us feel right at home. Accomodation was superb, very comfortable, neat and clean, great beds. Highly recommend it, wish we had stayed longer.

If you are thinking of staying in Luderitz then this is a “gem” of a place. The studio unit was perfect, clean and presented beautifully. It had everything you need , a small kitchenette with hotplate, microwave, fridge and an assortment of cooking equipment. The balcony gives you an option to sit outside and enjoy those Namibian sunsets. The shower had the most wonderful shower head with strong pressure and hot water. The 2 “angels” who looked after us were a real delight and know how to give the best Namibian welcome. These 2 young ladies also know how to prepare the units for guests and are a credit to the establishment. Thanks ladies … we will be back!

Canyon Roadhouse Campsite features camping accommodation in the Karas region, near the Fish River Canyon. Lively shaded sites with large trees. Communal bathroom, shower and kitchen sink facilities that were very clean and functional. Hiking trails nearby!
