Located on the banks of the Zambezi River, Protea Hotels Zambezi River offers air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a tour desk, and car rental. The best accommodation in the area. Beautiful restaurant right next to the river, memorable sunsets, easy access to town & border. Special thanks to the staff, especially Adriano, who helped me adjust my reservation and improve my itinerary. I am grateful!

Overlooking the Okavango River, Divava Okavango Lodge & Spa is located 1 km away from the Popa Falls in the Bagani area. The lodge boasts a splash pool, a restaurant and wellness facilities. Great food. Excellent location on the river with glorious sunsets. Viewing hippos and crocs!

These tents feature all feature verandas with views of the Okavango River. Each tent includes wooden flooring and a wardrobe. They also have a mosquito net and a bathroom. Exceptional service and friendly staff made for a great vacation. The Chef is really outstanding, he catered to all our needs in an excellent way. The resort is very comfortable and relaxing, with a game reserve just on the other side of the river. Also no mosquitoes, which was a pleasant surprise.

The owner exhibited genuine friendliness and was exceptionally helpful.

Beautiful view of the river and flood plain. Delicious breakfasts and dinner! The owners were super friendly and accommodating. We loved their dog and cats! Their pool was beautiful. And we enjoyed the river safari! Our guide really knew where to go and when to be there!

You can spot hippos, impalas and a lot of birds while eating or relaxing on the big terrace. The tent was fully equipped with all you could wish for. We highly recommend the camping dinners you can order from reception for a nice evening at the fire watching the hippos in the water at the end of your garden. And a must-do is the 2h sunset cruise!
