Only needed an overnight stay in Mandalay. The hotel staff was attentive. They also helped me with a tuk tuk ride across town for dinner & a personal private transfer to Bagan with the hotel manager & a driver - which was extremely helpful especially during this time with many foreigner restrictions. The breakfast was abundant, served with several local dishes. Roof top & its view was a bonus. Had a double corner view of the city from my 9th floor room which was clean, comfortable & safe. Sufficient for one night for all my needs!

Kaung Myint Hotel ligger i Mandalays Chinatown, en kort promenad från Mandalays järnvägsstation. Här finns även en restaurang. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. The hotel manager spent few hours with us driving around the city to find my lost phone. This is not simply a good service, but an act of real kindness from the bottom of the heart to another person, and that is priceless! In general the whole hotel team (front desk team, restaurant team, housekeeping team) took good care of us during the whole stay. As well a member of the family that owns the hotel stayed there at the same time we did and he made sure with us that we are satisfied with everything. We never received such careful and attentive service in any place. The room was more specious than we expected (maybe we got upgraded and didn't know it) and very clean. Would definitely stay here if I come again to Mandalay!

The hotel is very central to Mandalay Palace and the Capital Mall (good food). The staff were super helpful. The room was big, the water was very hot (like I like it), and the bed was really comfortable. I liked that I could cast my phone to the TV too.
