Really nice simple auberge. Staff could not have been better. Thank you Mustafa for making our stay such fun. Visit to old Kasbah was great. Super food and birthdays cake for one of us. Would very happily return.

Il Riad Assia di Foum Zguid offre sistemazioni con barbecue e terrazza. Aziz and his wife, Khadija, and the rest of the staff were wonderful, welcoming, and fun. He took us on a tour of the nearby ruins and the Centreville. It was our friends' 27th anniversary and Aziz and his family threw a surprise party. Khadija baked a delicious cake and they decorated the salon for music and dancing. We really enjoyed dancing with them! I cannot over emphasize how welcomed we were - it was the pinnacle of Moroccan hospitality. There was strong WiFi in the common patio/dining room which was lovely and offered a moonlight view. Dinner was a delicious lemon chicken tajin with Soupe Harare. The rooms were spacious and clean but ours was a little too warm because the windows did not open to the outdoors. We hope to return someday. Thank you, Aziz!!!

Bivouac les nomades is a desert camp in the middle of the dunes of chegaga. It was unbelievable experience. The way to the camp was adventure as we had a tour on the way to the camp - 4x4 ride through the desert with really interesting rock formations (tajin mountain, oasis, fossils, tea break in the the restaurant in the middle of the desert). Once we got to the camp we could see a lovely sunset from the nearby dunes. At night there was a dinner (tajin, veggies, lots of fruits) and campfire with traditional songs. In the morning we had a camel ride during the sunrise. Breakfast (joghurt, egg-based tajin dish, bread, fruits, honey, jam, tea & coffee). The tenets are clean and cosy with clean linen, it was warm at night. You will also get towels. Bathroom also clean. No bugs or anything what we would be scared of. All in all- we got much more than we expected. The location is just amazing. You can see not only sand dunes but all kind of desert on the way, interesting rock formations and mountains. It is really best place to experience the desert.
