The hotel is located in one of the most spectacular places ever. From our room we had an amazing view on the monkey fingers, part of the gorge du Dades. Dinner and breakfast were both really nice. The swimming pool on the roof top was a plus. The highest score, however, goes to the guided hiking to the gorge that the manager of the hotel helped organise for us. That was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I would for sure recommend this beautiful riad to anyone. Thank you again!

Situated 18 km on the road of the Dades Gorges in Boumalne, Auberge La Vallée des Figues boasts a terrace overlooking the mountains and valleys. I couldn't recommended this place enough We arrived around 6pm and met bob who worked there. Once settled in to our upgraded room, we went out for an absolutely stunning walk over the river past some villages (on Bob's recommendation) On returning bobs mother cooked us an absolute feast - vegetable tagine with beef and chicken. In the morning we walked up the monkey finger gorge before another filling breakfast (I think this may have been our best breakfast in Morocco)

The hotel is located at the end of the street and has a large parking lot. The terrace and the pool on the roof are really nice and good for relaxing after activities in the hot sun. Very good view of the city and the hills from the terrace and from the rooms. The hotel interior has a rustic but not old-fashioned colonial style. More exclusive than the sober functional modern hotels. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and dinner (large buffet), Moroccan and Spanish style. Alcohol can be ordered at typical higher prices (high tax). Rooms are very nice and rustic decorated, large, well equipped and clean. Stable quality since 2016 (our first visit).

Very nice hotel right at the kasbah with fair prices. The room was big and comfortable with a view over the kasbah. The staff is very friendly and help you where they can. Their restaurant overlooks the kasbah and has amazing views. A large breakfast is included with your stay.

We booked a Cave Room for the unique experience. The beds were very hard and lack of air movement made it difficult to sleep. There was a small window in the door and an electric heater (for winter) but no fan. We were glad we stayed in the Cave Room but for one night only. The pool area was wonderful. Water was refreshing and had nice seating.

Dar Isselday was a hidden gem in the mountains - the rooms were spacious, the staff was very welcoming, everything was clean and cozy and the best part - the restaurant food was one of the best that we had. Will definitely visit again!
