Featuring a garden and views of lake, BALTĀ māja is a recently renovated guest house located in Aglona, less than 1 km from Aglona Basilica. Loved the creative elements in the room. Liked that everything was super clean and the garden was well taken care of. As this place has opened just recently, I hope it maintains the level of service for a long time. We stayed just for a night, but would have loved to stay more to enjoy the peacefulness of the place.

The view is fantastic, very quite and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and nice. No interaction between visitors and owners.

The place is fantastic if want to find a peaceful place without wifi and business around you - just be with yourself and your mind. There is almost everything available in the house, just the coffee machine is missing. But overall can find a pan, dishes, mugs and wine glasses too as well as a fridge. If you enjoy boating time on the lake, you can find it here too - a boat is available there.
