Stunning and quiet property in the heart of a busy city! We were welcomed by the stuff with some drinks and everyone took a lot of care of us and our luggage. We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Located right opposite Ma-Oya River, guests at Hotel Elephant Park "Grand Royal Pinnalanda" can watch elephants from their rooms. It has a restaurant and offers room service. The rooms very super nice , the views where amazing . Had a really nice time staying there . Went on 2 tours with Andrew and he was amazing !! He took me to the village and waterfalls , tea factory and a herbal garden the first day and that was very nice , next day we went to the tower and he had no problem driving me there at 5 am , he also took me to a nice local lunch place in Kandy so I had the best time . Would recommend,

The staff greeted us at our tuk tuk and took care of our bags. Our room was nice and clean. There's a mini bar, for a fee, and a store right below. It's directly across the street from the elephant orphanage. In the morning, around 10:00, you can watch a herd of elephant cross the street. Quite a site

Rangi and her mother made us feel so welcome. We have never experienced such hospitality - they really went out of their way to make our stay special. Rangi spoke perfect English, gave us tips about the local area and even helped us move onto Nuwara Eliya, speaking on the phone to the bus driver! Our rafting guides picked us up and dropped us off, so it’s very close to the local attractions. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked by her mother which was amazing! They brought dinner down to our room, which we ate at the table outside listening to the sounds of the Forest. It was incredible! As for the room, comfortable bed, hot shower and balcony overlooking the beautiful forest. There is a stream just a minute walk away where you can swim. We have had the perfect stay here and recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much to Rangi and her mother - best of luck with the rest of your studies!😁

Nicely placed in nature. Tranquility with ayurvedic garden just behind the rooms. We have received guided tour via the garden with foot massage included. Very nice and helpful staff. One guy even came with us by tuk tuk to be sure we find the right bus to Kandy and made sure we’ll have a seat 😉 I felt really comfortable in the room.
