Located in Nara and with Nara Station reachable within 800 metres, 奈良旅館別館 Sweet 螢 源 provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. This property was absolutely the highlight of our stay. It was a modern style, spacious and comfortable. The outdoor bath and garden were beautiful. We loved this room so much we picked up food, ate in and just relaxed for the evening. If you are staying in Nara book the Double or Twin Room with Private External Bathroom. As a bonus its only a 5 minute walk from the train/bus station. Wish we stayed longer here.

Upon hearing that we were heading to a nearby ryokan, our host offered to drive us over for free (and refused the cash we pulled out of our wallets multiple times). The food was amazing as well!

The history of the house, the building, the room, wonderful staff, hospitality and warm welcome and magnificent garden. The breakfast was delicious. The staff recommended very good places for dinner. We absolutely loved the stay.
