Locanda del Barone is a beautiful, family run hotel situated in idyllic surroundings, with very friendly staff and exquisite, locally sourced food and wine. Thank you to the family for being such kind hosts. We loved every minute of it!

The breakfast was absolutely excellent, home cooked and extensive. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe and at a home away from home! I can't wait to return to Hotel Mazzocca again! The view from the balconies out to the national park where also exceptional.

Offering a traditional restaurant, Hotel Arimannia is set in Caramanico Terme inside the Majella national Park. WiFi and parking are both free at the property. I only write reviews for exceptional places. This hotel exceeded every hope and expectation. The food was the better than the Michelin star restaurants we dined at this trip. The view over the valley was especially nice from the swing on the balcony. The owners were friendly and helpful for every request.

Hotel Armando's położony jest w miejscowości Sulmona i zapewnia widoki na szczyty Maiella oraz Morrone. Silvia was extremely helpful in booking our group of 8 dinner reservations and the food was excellent! The staff also was accommodating on our early arrival by taking our luggage and helped us with taxis and bus schedules. The hotel is an older building and there are not a lot of amenities (as expected for a 3 star hotel) but it was very clean, beds were comfortable and the layout and space was perfect for our group of 8. Many in our group enjoyed this hotel more than the 4-star places we stayed in Sorrento and Rome! We would definitely go back.

Beautiful family palazzo filled with antique furnishings and art. Private, spacious and comfortable quarters. The home-cooked breakfast was superb and the coffee (lots of it) was excellent.

Hotel Santacroce Meeting jest usytuowany 5 minut jazdy od centrum miejscowości Sulmona, na obrzeżach Parku Narodowego Maiella. We've gone to this hotel on many occasions as UK people touring Italy and it never fails us. It's not in the central area of Sulmona so could be a problem without a car, and you won't exactly get a room with a view, but otherwise, absolutely great. Two lovely swimming pools, nice air-conditioned rooms, and very helpful staff. Parking is easy and with the beautiful medieval city of Sulmona is just a five minute drive away, it's a very easy choice for us.
