Park Hotel Olimpia is surrounded by the vineyards of Oltrepò Pavese. It offers a typical restaurant, a great selection of wellness facilities, and modern guest rooms. We loved the Park Olimpia. It would be exceptional for anyone who loves to play tennis! (But we didn't have time) We enjoyed the outdoor pool overlooking the gorgeous mountain view, the spa facilities, and a delicious gourmet meal. Jacabo, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, as were the rest of the staff. I would go return!

Det rolige, landlige Hotel Castello di San Gaudenzio huses i et slott fra 15. århundre, plassert på en nydelig, grønn eiendom. Nyt sportsfasiliteter og en elegant, klassisk atmosfære. It was low season, I think there were maybe 3 or 4 rooms occupied in the whole castle, so consider this for our review! The staff was very friendly, easy check-in and check-out, at dinner time, the restaurant was excellent, great food and wine at a reasonable price. Breakfast was also great, we had custom made omelettes that were to die for. Overall it was a fantastic experience, highly recommend it!

Hotel Milano Pool & Garden was originally an 18th-century monastery and is located 50 metres from the Terme di Salice thermal spa. It has a large private park with swimming pool. Beautiful family-run hotel with very friendly hosts. Nice pool and garden, must be terrific in spring and summer.

After that exceptional stay it's hard to summarize what we liked or enjoyed most. Of course the boheme-Italian style of the hotel is great, and seeing the castle on the mountain greeting you as you wake up is also great. But by far the most impressive and memorable thing of our stay was the warmth, kindness and soul of the host. And before we forget, the lunch was also absolutey amazing. 10/10 highly recommend!
