This place is run by people who ride bikes/mountain bikes, that is obvious from the moment you get to the door (ok, and the name!). But it's a perfect place for any travellers. It's newly built, everything is of a very high standard - excellent rooms and ensuite shower rooms. There is a local restaurant next door or the town of Massa Marittima a few minutes up the road. For the riders there are excellent bike facilities - secure indoor bike storage, bike workshop area, bike wash area outside. The guys who run it are all bikers so can help with advice for riding etc. And there is a bike workshop and service centre next door. A perfect location for exploring and riding the many trails in the area. Excellent internet, downstairs communal chill out area with huge TV and beer fridge (soft drinks also available!).

Offering a private beach area, just metres away, Relais "Torre Mozza" - Dimora d' Epoca is situated in Follonica in the Tuscany Region. Free WiFi is available. This place was truly unique and the designer did a great job. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and had the best caesar salad ever. Wines, oil, etc. are sourced locally so everything is very fresh and you get to taste local products. We were pleased to receive a booklet of rooms with all the information and decided to take the best room they have a few days later. We can definitely recommend it.

Less than 100 metres from Capalbio Train Station, Albergo del Lago offers free bike rentals and rooms with a balcony and wrought-iron beds. Free WiFi is available in public areas. We had an amazing stay at Albergo del Lago! Super friendly personnel, clean room, exceptional breakfast at the rooftop terrace... We were even provided with aperitivo and wine in the evening. We barely give out perfect reviews, but this one is absolutely deserved - best value for money in our two week tour through Tuscany. We will definitely come back!

Hotel La Scottiglia e Ristorante is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Seggiano town centre. It offers classic-style accommodation, a traditional restaurant with bar and a garden with sun terrace. We booked and had good communication. The welcome was nice and quick check in, attentive staff. Room looks good, everything in good shape. The restaurant is very good, solid offer of dishes (prices mid maybe a bit high for some smaller dishes, coperto at 3 euro a bit high). The breakfast was a treat, rich in local products, very tasty. The service by the staff was permanently very attentive and efficient. The service was in line with the price.

Tenuta Fattoria Vecchia is located in the open countryside in Baccinello, a 30-minute drive from Scansano, 12 km from Cana, and 24 km from Grosseto. We loved this property. Spectacular views and intimate setting perfect for a romantic getaway. Owner and staff were so friendly and accomodating. Dinner every evening was so wonderful and we ate every course. Staff even went out of their way to serve us drinks and aperativs in the afternoon before dinner. The rooms were so beautifully renovated with vintage charm. We truly felt we had an authentic experience in Tuscany.

Only 50 metres from Castiglione Della Pescaia's Blue Flag beach, Relais C'Era Una Volta is next to the town's medieval castle. A historic building, it offers a relaxation area with free sauna. The location is very good, close to the beach and the pedestrian area in the city center but laid back enough to provide quiet at night. Roberta at the reception was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful, providing every sort of information. The hotel offers, among other things, bikes for free and discounts in some local restaurants , a welcome plus.

Just 50 metres from Porto Ercole, Hotel Conchiglia is on the Argentario peninsula. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and traditionally furnished rooms with LCD TVs and private bathrooms. The family that owns the hotel is very sweet and from what I learned are hard workers. They were very helpful with recommendations, and the included breakfast was better than expected! The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed! Great stay and fabulous people!
