This warm and friendly hotel is within the ancient walls of Lucca, a 10-minute walk from the cathedral. Highlights at Hotel Alla Corte degli Angeli include free Wi-Fi and elegantly decorated rooms. Enjoyed our stay in the hotel. We came with a car and the parking was just across the street from the hotel. Upon arriving we were welcomed by the most polite and efficient staff. The room itself was clean and spacious and the painted walls added a touch of homely domesticity to an otherwise very professionally-run hotel. The breakfast spread was typical Tuscan fare. Kudos to the people running the place for keeping it as authentic as possible.

The breakfast was also nice and the family that runs the hotel was also kind. The owner/manager was very kind to help me with my luggage up the stairs, but it is definitely easier here with light luggage :) If you are coming by train, make sure to ask about reaching the property by the back exit of train station to avoid taking large stairs to cross the town.

Set within an 18th-century Tuscan farm house, this enchanting hotel is nestled amid the lush greenery of the Lucchese hills, between a wonderful 40-hectare pine grove. The staff was so warm and inviting. The room was kept immaculate and the grounds were spectacular. We were so happy with our stay here. I would highly recommend without hesitation.
