Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub. This was the perfect retreat for myself and my family. The pool and the spa were relaxing, and the restaurant was amazing for dinner. We have a two year old, and the staff was warm and friendly with her and I was so impressed with everything. Breakfast was delicious, and I was pleased to find that there were a few warm items (eggs, bacon) that you don't normally see on an Italian breakfast table.

This boutique, family-run hotel is situated in the beautiful ancient center of Castiglione del Lago, a charming, picturesque village on Trasimeno Lake, in a lush, green part of Umbria. Everything was as it should be.

A super stylish hotel in an old villa by the waters edge. 50 metres from the cheap ferry, which ran frequently and offered free parking at the ferry pier. The room was beautifully stylish, the photos do it no justice, and facilities were first rate. The staff could not be faulted, they were engaging, helpful and could not have done more for us. The food looked and tasted appetising. Finally, the setting was tranquil. Super easy to park, to get the ferry and get to the hotel. Don't let the logistics put you off a magical stay.

Set in its garden with furnished patio and surrounded by the countryside, Le Macerine offers free WiFi throughout and a free swimming pool. The hotel was in a very quiet neighbourhood, but very close to the lake and 10 minutes walk from city center. The room was very spacious and it had a big bed. The room and the bathroom were clean. The bathroom was very complete and comfortable. There was a fridge available. The rooms are actually cabins with the door going outside directly, which is very good for COVID. Breakfast was typical Italian with salty and sweet food that you could select yourself. There were some homemade tasty cakes. The staff was incredible friendly; they recommended us good restaurants around and they helped us contact us the bikes rent place after we could not deliver the bikes on time. The parking is wide and it was enough. The hotel had pool and an area to stay and relax.

Located in a peaceful location the historical centre of Passignano Sul Trasimeno, Hotel Trasimeno offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a balcony. Passignano Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. The staff was very helpful and the room very comfortable. The german shepherd was a plus for our baby. We had a balcony. We unfortunately arrived to the hotel with Covid and had to change plans and leave home and they were very understanding.

Situated on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, Hotel Kursaal is set among extensive gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. The property was a perfect place for a retreat! It was beautiful, quiet and close to the town without being in the middle. It was perfect.
