My Suite Hotel is located in a panoramic position, near L'Aquila city centre. All rooms are air-conditioned and parking is free. Everything was excellent! We were very well received by lovely staff. The room was nice, very clean. As for the breakfast, it was the best we have ever had in a hotel and served by delightful ladies.

Located in Barisciano in the Abruzzo Region, 16 km from L’Aquila, Convento di San Colombo is set in its garden and it features a children's playground and views of the mountain. The accommodation place is really beautiful and the room is very comfortable. However, one thing that they don't mention is just how breathtaking their view is from the garden. WOW WOW WOW!!! We had no idea that this region was going to be so spectacularly beautiful and wish that we had stayed longer for hiking but it just means we have to come back.

El Sextantio Albergo Diffuso ofereix allotjament únic en el poble medieval i fortificat de Santo Stefano di Sessanio, situat enmig dels turons de l'Abruzzo, a 1250 m sobre el nivell del mar. It was just stunning. I was lucky to find this hotel. Room, Restaurant and People in the reception and restaurant were just perfect. I had a rest there. Hopely come again and stay longer there.

The hotel was quite nice. It's away from the nite noise of the main part of town but just a short walk. The restaurant was great, though we only got pizza and calzone but every table had something I wanted. That said, the pizza was amazing. You asked about the bed above. I have a bad back so it's hard to tell, but it didn't hurt so that is a plus. I liked the height, seemed a bit lower than average and I kinda liked that.

The location is quite far from l'Aquila city, but it is also a good point, the area is very quiet and relaxing. The owner can cook a great dinner and a cappuccino with croissant as breakfast is a perfect way to start in the morning.
