Located by the harbour in Höfn, this property is surrounded by Hornafjördur’s outdoor activity possibilities. Guests can enjoy mountaineering, snowmobile glacier trips and ice climbing in the area. Amazing views from the rooms on both sides of the hotel. Staff volunteered to call out if Aurora was visible so nobody missed it

Boasting panoramic views towards the famous Vatnajökull glacier and the surrounding mountains, Árnanes Country Hotel offers free Wi-Fi. The harbour town of Höfn is only 6 km away. Located near to the city of Hofn. Arnanes really is one of the highlight our of trip as we spend a good times here during our stay. The staff at the restaurant is very polite as well and the unit is like a small terrace house made up mainly by timber. A short drive will get you to Hofn where you can spend a good dinner there and drove back to the hotel for a good rest. Recommended to those who visiting Hofn, Arnanes would be a good choice to spend your night here :)

The amazing location of Hotel Skaftafell provides guests with stunning views of Iceland's highest mountain, Hvannadalshnjukur and the largest glacier in Europe, Vatnajökull. Breakfast was nice. Also English breakfast. The room was clean, nice place to stay. And the best is glacier 15 min walk right behind the hotel. No problem with parking. Cattle and tea, coffee in the room DIY.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Enjoyed the mountain view from our room with panoramic windows. Friendly staff, clean rooms, perfect for a rest during the ring road trip.

Overlooking Djupivogur Harbour, Hotel Framtid is 8 km from Búlandstindur Mountain. It offers local seafood specialities, a bar and free private parking. Nice staff! Perfect hotel for a night after driving. Really enjoyed it.
