Situated in south-eastern Iceland, in the coastal town of Höfn, this hotel offers local cuisine and modern en-suite rooms with a flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Enjoyed our stay. Amazing staff (especially Tereza on Reception, and the restaurant staff). Standard of food in restaurant was excellent. Would stay again / recommend to others.

Hotel Skaftafell asub suurepärases kohas, kust avaneb võrratu vaade Islandi kõrgeimale mäele Hvannadalshnjúkurile ja Euroopa suurimale liustikule Vatnajökullile. Wonderful place! The restaurant, while a bit expensive, served us wonderful food, perfect after a day of exploring. On top of that, 15 min walk behind the hotel allows you to see two glaciers and wonderful views. The best part was definitely chatting with Pedro, an exceptional receptionist and a great guy!

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Breakfast was great and the dining area was even better than photos show. We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel on our long road trip. Staff was helpful and kind as well.
