Staff was very friendly and helpful, we even got the room a bit earlier than normal check-in because one of us was sick and needed rest. Breakfast was good, room cleand and nice. Some nice extras like free use of jacuzzi, bathropes and slippers in the room.

It was super clean and in the perfect area. The facilities were ideal, I could do my own laundry in peace and make myself as many coffees as my heart wanted. This place is super modern and quiet, even in the second busiest Icelandic city.

Situated in Akureyri, Hotel Akureyri Dynheimar features a bar. Free WiFi is available as well as free parking. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV, minibar and electric kettle. Wonderful hotel. Designed tastefully with movie posters and quotes all around the corridor. Keyless entry so had no interactions with any staff. Room had guitar and a music box which was nice Overall a good experience

This family-run hotel is found along the Ring Road/Route 1, 14 km outside Akureyri. It offers a hot tub, sun terrace and views of Eyjafjördur. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Loved the location, the room, the breakfast and the staff behaviour. The northern lights viewing point, the hot tub, the sauna, the snooker table and the dart board were amazing value add-ons. They had coffee/tea/hot cocoa through the day at their restaurant, and a kitchenette to microwave meals. Highly recommended stay option near Akureyri. Special shoutout to Karl for his warm welcome and hospitality throughout our three night stay.

Obviously newly renovated room. Great breakfast. Employees helpful and kind. Hotel location could not be better. Walking distance to restaurants and Main Street. Definitely stay there again.
