The privately run and owned Heights Hotel Killarney overlooks the Flesk Valley and Torc and Mangerton mountains and is 1 mile from Killarney Train Station. Good breakfast. Very good dinner (twice). The stormy weather stayed outside.

Overlooking the Golden Gates of Killarney National Park, the Jaunting Cars or the Surrounding area, the Classic King Room features a 5ft wide king-sized bed and Jacuzzi. it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, hotel lovely. all the staff were so nice.
