Die Lage ist sensationell. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir gleich mit einem Glas Sekt empfangen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam.

Das Shamrock Lodge Hotel ist ein in einem herrlichen Park gelegenes, familiengeführtes Hotel im Herzen von Irland. We had an unusual experience during our stay here. We had a lovely room, very large and comfortable, and all the reception people we dealt with were very helpful. In the morning after our first night, my husband had a kidney stone attack, and we had to go to the hospital. It was a Sunday and the receptionist told us we needed to go to Portiuncula Hospital and she called a taxi. After that, he was admitted to hospital, and I was on my own for the next night and I had to add on one more night, which was in a smaller room, but equally as comfortable. I appreciated being able to have dinner at the hotel for the two nights on my own, and the meals were very good. I had the breakfast on one morning, and it was very good, with lots of variety. I also appreciated the kindness and understanding of the reception staff. On the morning I left, because I had to wait for a taxi, the receptionist had tea and a biscuit brought to me. It was a memorable stay, perhaps for the wrong reasons, but I will always remember the staff at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

Great spa-location, especially the sauna was very relaxing. Cute location with castlelike structures made us feel like being in a fairytale.

All go above & beyond to make your stay as stress free & comfortable as possible. I've stayed in many hotels throughout Ireland & I would rate the Athlone Springs Hotel as the No.1 for hospitality & service. A special mention to Nicole in conference & events who is an absolute asset to the team & has made all my booking a breeze to organise. Book the Athlone Springs with confidence & you're sure to return again.

After a lot of days of walking in the rain it was nice to be in a cozy hotel steps away from the city sites. And a nice pool, steamroom and sauna to relax and feel warm Ease of check-in despite a lot of people checking in at the same time. Staff was very helpful and calm.
