Glebe House offers accommodations in Taghshinny, 17 miles from Athlone Institute of Technology and 17 miles from Athlone Train Station. Linda is an amazing host, always available for everything. The house is a jewel and looks like it's directly out of a Jane Austen's novel. Not only it's beautiful, it also has an incredibile historical value due to the fact that Oscar Wilde lived there for some time. Breakfast is amazing and the rooms are SO nice. 10/10!

Longford Holiday Red Rose Self Catering Cottage is located in Longford, just 27 miles from Roscommon Racecourse and 27 miles from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club. The cottage was lovely. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The setting was perfect....so pretty. A very thoughtful touch that the hostess left us a cake and chocolate which we enjoyed...and also milk, coffee and tea. It was easy to access our key from the lockbox. The hostess has a booklet that was quite useful. It had everything we needed to know about the cottage, garbage, recycling, cabs, close restaurants, etc. It was the perfect guideline and we used it a lot.
