Set 400 metres from Carlingford Castle, Mc Kevitts Village Hotel offers 2-star accommodation in Carlingford and features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. It felt like I'd stepped back in time in this place, in a good way! The room was fine, nothing exciting, but I loved the pub/restaurant and various areas to hang out in and relax. The hotel ambience was relaxing, inviting. I expected Yeats to walk in at any moment. There's a little courtyard we didn't discover til the day we were leaving. Be sure to check that out! Staff were friendly, helpful, welcoming. It's a lovely location in the centre of what I'd call a small town with a village feel. I wish we'd booked a longer stay. There are interesting sites to visit close by. I enjoyed the shops around the hotel. Of all the places I visited in my 3 weeks in Ireland, this was one of the few I'd pick to live in if I had the desire to move!

Situated in Dundalk, the family run Ballymascanlon Hotel and Golf Resort is set within 130 acres of parkland. We had a late check in due to unforeseen circumstances. The staff were so accommodating. Breakfast was first class and our two boys loved the pool facilities. We will definitely be back.

Flynns of Termonfeckin Boutique Hotel is located on the banks of the Ballywater River and is a 10-minute walk from the beach and a 5-minute drive from Drogheda. Rauhallinen ja pieni paikka. Todella ystävällinen henkilökunta. Pihapiirissä oli kaksi kissaa, joista toinen tuli mielellään käymään sisällä huoneessa, jos ikkunaa avasi tarpeeksi. Kissoille allergisen kannattaa jättää vain vähän raolleen. 😄 Ilmainen ja hyvä pysäköintipaikka. Hotellin yhteydessä pieni pubi, jossa oli mukava pistäytyä pitkän matkustuspäivän jälkeen. Huoneessa oli oma sisäänkäynti. Paikka sopivan matkan päässä Dublinista.

The Gateway Hotel Dundalk, where extraordinary experiences and unmatched service await you. The staff were very nice. The hotel lobby was very impressive. The room exceeded my expectations, and was very luxurious. Full coffee, tea and hot chocolate was provided with the kettle, and two cartons of water. The breakfast was very good.

The Glenside is located in beautiful countryside just 2 km from Drogheda and 5km from the beach at Bettystown. There is a bar, a la carte restaurant and free parking. Beautiful hotel with lovely staff

Originally built in 1867, this charming town house has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, whilst retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings. Beautiful hotel in center of town. Lovely period furniture inside. Very friendly staff. Great dinner and breakfast. Lots of parking.
