The Killeshin Hotel is one mile from Portlaoise and junction 16 off the M7 motorway. It offers a bistro, an indoor pool, hot tub, a gym and free parking. Everything about the hotel was fab, we arrived to the genuinely welcoming smile of front receptionist Nina, an absolute pleasure to deal with, helpful informative and just lovely. The room was great, we had breakfast delivered and it was scrumptious. On leaving we met Jonathan, again a fantastic representative funny and extremely helpful. We'll be visiting again thats for sure!!

The Midlands Park Hotel is a luxurious 4-star property located in the centre of Portlaoise and a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station. Amazing hotel with friendly staff. There was nothing I could say negative about the Hotel and service provided. It exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were great, comfortable and clean. Very spacious too. The pool and all of the facilities were excellent and an added bonus. The food was so so good, and the staff were kind, polite attentive, they just made us feel so welcome. I will definitely be back soon. If your in Portlaoise you have to visit the Hotel, you will not be disappointed.

The 3-star Abbeyleix Manor Hotel offers a relaxing and ideal base to explore the hidden beauties of County Laois and the Midlands of Ireland. Excellent breakfast with happy friendly staff .The whole experience was amazing.Spacious bedrooms and lounges which were very cosy and comfortable. Location just.at the edge of Abbeyleix was very peaceful. Reception staff very heloful too and friendly.. We will certainly return..

The Heritage offers 4-star accommodation in Killenard. Set within private gardens, guests may enjoy the on-site features including a leisure centre, award-winning spa, and on-site bars and... Everything about the stay was perfect - the experience was excellent from Check-in, food service to Spa Facility we were met with the same excellent service standard, where nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our needs during the stay. The location is super convenient to M7 would highly recommend and I will definitely return.

Maldron Hotel ligger like ved avkjørsel 17 på motorveien M7, kun 5 minutters kjøring fra Portlaoise sentrum og O'Moore Park. Fantastic staff! Friendly courteous and superbly efficient. Could not have asked for better service and pleasurable staff

Located in Mountmellick and only 22 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, Summergrove House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. I have been traveling across Ireland for two weeks and I have stayed more than a dozen hotels and B&Bs. Summergrove is simply the best in terms of its offerings and value. The host put a lot of thoughts and indeed heart in the restoration of this grand house. It is grand but not pretentious, charming but practical, beautiful but down to earth. While I enjoyed the classic decorations of my bedroom, I also feel very much at home while sipping coffee in the kitchen that would have been typical in a farmhouse. Speaking of the coffee (which is absolutely fantastic), one should definitely try the breakfast prepared by the host. It’s healthy and delicious at the same time which is a rarity in Ireland. I wish I had planned more time in this wonderful and memorable place, enjoying the elegant private library, for example. I shall be back though. A place like this cannot easily be forgotten or overlooked. I miss it already.

Set 31 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum and 34 km from Kilkenny Railway Station, Preston House features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. Charming old house with a lot of history. Spacious rooms and perfectly cleanliness. Comfy beds. Kitchen available to use. On our trip in Ireland this was the best value, cleanest and nicest stay of them all.
