The Village Bunaken features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bunaken. The accommodation provides a private beach area, as well as a restaurant and a bar. We were looking for a silent and calm place to our honeymoon. This was found here! Fu Chun and David were really great host of us! They were really kind and had the capability to give us great service and be invisible if it was needed. We had a really nice room, a 'Seaside Superior Chalet', cleaned up every day. Fresh towels to inside and outside usage were provided every 3 days too. We loved that we got fresh flowers every day in our room/bathroom. We enjoyed very much the well-kept garden, the pool and the common places of the resort. We ordered our lunch and dinner from our hosts, the chef of the kitchen (Angi's mum) was amazing: very tasty foods, huge portions, fantastic local tastes! Furthermore my wife and me are vegans - they prepared our meals accordingly which deserves an extra praise! We had the chance to take a look inside the kitchen - it is probably the tidiest one in Indonesia! The coral reefs are really close, there is a 'natural pathway' to walk out on feet even in low-tide. They are beautiful, we did unforgettable snorkeling! We enjoyed the friendliness of the entire staff! We spent here 16 days - it is strongly recommended for those ones who are searching for relaxing, calm vacation place.

Located in Bunaken, EL Homestay Bunaken provides accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Excellent food, lots of fruit, good variety, different dishes every meal. Fish was very fresh and often accompanied by a photo of the actual fish. Stephen and Missi made us feel like part of the family. Stephen arranged for car and boat transportation from the airport and later to Tangkoko. Also for a snorkeling boat. Very attentive and interested in our welfare.

Situated in Bunaken, Blue Shark Divers Bunaken features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Guests staying at this homestay have access to a balcony. Such a great experience. The lodge is located very close to the beach where the boat drops you off. The rooms are very comfy and have AC. Be prepared for a bucket shower! Dion is very friendly and helpful, the diving is very good value and the crew are kind and very good at their jobs. The best part for us was the food!! All three meals are included and the home cooking is really incredible and delicious, they should.open a restaurant! We miss it already Overall we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again

Facing the seafront in Bunaken, Sunset Guest House & Bar has a private beach area and a bar. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Helmi and family were extremely welcoming. Acommodation simple but clean and great value for money. Right in the centre of the village and only a few meters walk from public boat. Best guest house food we have ever had! Great variety, quality and quantity. Helmi organized great local snorkellng trips on his boat. Overall, a wonderful stay in Bunaken.

Novita Homestay is a 3-star property situated in Bunaken, facing the sea. The property has sea and mountain views. My stay at Novita was incredible. I felt like part of a family. The food is excellent and the family is adorable. The accommodation is very comfortable and the value for money unbeatable. I only want to come back to Bunaken to see them! The girls are very nice too. We went snorkeling together. Thanks a lot. I recommend 100%.

Siladen Resort & Spa is an eco-friendly beachfront resort with an outdoor pool, a private beach area and a restaurant overlooking the ocean. Beautiful resort with yummy food. The management and staff were great -any problems were sorted promptly and we felt very well cared for. Great atmosphere and beautiful sunset views. Amazing house reef for snorkelling! We did the dolphin & snorkelling trips and my boyfriend did some dives (special thanks to Lea for re-introducing him to diving), all well organised. The spa is also fab. 10 days went too quickly! Highly recommended.

Offering an accommodation with a dive centre, Happy Gecko Dive Resort is located on Bunaken Island in North Sulawesi, just steps from the island’s world-famous beaches and diving sites. Snorkeling on the dive boat was excellent. Felt I was being looked out for. Two different locations each morning. Great dive crew. Bed in the cabin was comfortable.

Blending nicely with the countryside, Raja Laut Dive Resort offers bungalows built with wood from coconut palms. Stop reading the reviews and book this now. NOW! It so amazing. We stayed 8 nights. Right on the ocean, with a little beach, no mangrove trees to obstruct view or access to beautiful coral reef, great for snorkeling. Other places in the island don’t have this. I spotted snowflake eels, 8 types of clownfish, 3 types of anemones, coral colonies the size of cars, and so many pyramid butterflyfish and niger triggerfish just in the first thirty minutes. It’s amazing. All of the rooms have wonderful views. It was so so so relaxing to be there. I have never had such a good experience. The food was amazing and local. We did vegetarian and it was so tasty. They also had fresh fruit around at all times. We went with the divers on their charted boat and snorkeled for around 12$ a person for two separate spots a day. Super affordable. The boat team of three men were so professional, knowledgeable, and yet super funny and kind. I felt like we’re all friends by the end. There is a public boat from manado, which we took on our way out, and we booked a private boat on our way in through Raja Laut. Both were great. Brahm the manager was so kind and attentive. We did laundry there and it was done well. Jessie and her staff in the kitchen were so kind. Always enough food, served family style so we could get to know the other guests. It was so nice, but also acceptable to talk to your own party if you wanted to.
