The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We ate in the evening at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good and the portion sizes very big! Rooms and hotel in general are spotlessly clean, rooms were a good size, with AC. Beds and pillows very comfortable. It's a great hotel for transit as we did on our way home. Breakfast was nice as well.

Set 1.5 km from Zagreb Airport, Hotel Royal Airport offers rooms in Velika Gorica. The hotel is at the distance of 10 km from Zagreb. We just stopped over for crew rest on our way to the United States. I booked the hotel due to it's close proximity to the airport. It was close enough to walk, but the hotel provided a free shuttle. The food in the restaurant was excellent too.
