Amazing location with fantastic views. The dinner at the hotel at night made it very convenient for intimate stays. The atmosphere was welcoming and personalized. The proprietor provided a blind rum tasting at my request which was entertaining and enlightening. The “Fancy Dinner” night held once a month had great entertainment. Gary also arranged for transport and made some food recommendations of where to eat in Tzununa and what to do in the area

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area in Atitlán Lake, Hotel La Casa del Mundo is located in El Jaibalito. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. This hotel has no bad points. Everything was exceptional. Rooms, view, staff, food. Every time we had a question staff would deal with it right away and be extremely helpful. Great hotel to get away for a couple of days! Internet in the rooms works slowly, but the restaurant one is great and I could even get work done.

Offering an outdoor pool and a hydro-massage hot tub, Tzampoc Resort is located in Santa Catarina Palopó. This hotel is amazing! I had a great experience during my stay here. It is very comfortable, the grounds are gorgeous, the pool, the bar, the jacuzzi, the garden. But the best thing out of all is the view. It' s simply amazing. I really enjoyed the breakfast which was delicious and served on the outdoor terrace with a fantastic view over the lake and the volcanoes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful with all my requests. One of the best hotels in the area, for sure!

From the staff, to the grounds, to the food and the service, this hotel was the most wonderful place. My fiancée asked me to marry him there and there genuinely would not have been a more special surrounding. Astrid was also amazing as were all the staff we interacted with. Atitlan Villas feature rustic-style architecture, a swimming pool and hot tub overlooking the Atitlan lake. Built into the mountainside, it provides panoramic lake views. Mario and his staff were outstanding. They were attentive, caring and trust worthy. They made us feel as if we were guests in their private home. The secluded location and view of the lake/volcanos were spectacular and the large fluffy pool towels for cool evening dips into the jacuzzi were a bonus.
