Das Tortugal Boutique River Lodge liegt am Fluss Rio Dulce in der Nähe eines Schlosses aus dem 16. What did we like? All of it! The rooms are tastefully decorated. They were very comfy, despite being in the middle of nature. Attentive staff, picked us up to and fro Rio Dulce. Good food, cold beers. Very refreshing to be able to jump in the river when hot!

Das El Hotelito Perdido ist ein kleines Dschungel-Hideaway mitten im Nationalpark Rio Dulce. TLDR: Go there. The best advice I saw in the reviews was to book one more night the you planned to. I wish I could give more than 10, because this place is truly amazing. You understand you're in heaven the moment you step off the boat. The surroundings are incredible, the rooms are comfortable (even hot-ish water in the shower), the meals are big and delicious, and Tim, Alejandra and the whole staff are helpful (from activities, advice, and transportation to anywhere when leaving). I was surprised by how many things you could do in the area. I thought we will mostly be stuck in the hotel (not a bad thing with this one) reading books and swimming in the river, but eventually we had ourself an awesome schedule that is possible thanks to the transformation and guides (and kayaks) the hostel offer, and actually had to decide between activities because we didn't have time to do them all in our 3 nights stay. Also, the chocolate is amazing and so is the massage. It seemed to me like the place is truly doing a good job in being an eco-hotel so also thumbs up for that. I contemplated a lot about visiting Rio Dulce area, and after not meeting anyone planning to go there throughout our whole trip, I started regretting my decision to come. I'm so happy we eventually decided to go because it was one of our favorite places in Guatemala (maybe the favorite).

Die Unterkunft Hotel Kangaroo y Restaurante hat einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge, ein Restaurant und eine Bar in Rio Dulce. This is an amazing and unique stay. The only way to get to it is by boat and with that, you already know you're in for something unique. The staff were very helpful and helped us with whatever we needed. We stayed in the shared dormitory and it was just amazing

Die Unterkunft Banana Palms Hotel, die in Rio Dulce, 1,1 km von Schloss Castillo de San Felipe de Lara entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, kostenlosen... Sehr freundliches Personal. Ich konnte gegen einen bescheidenen Preis einen Regenschirm erwerben, was natürlich nicht vorgesehen war. Innerhalb von 10 wurde das Management gefragt und ich konnte die Besichtigung des verregneten Quirigua in Angriff nehmen.

Das Nanajuana Río Dulce verfügt über ein Restaurant, einen Außenpool, ein Fitnesscenter und eine Bar in Río Dulce. Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön und direkt am Wasser gelegen. Die Hotelzimmer sind groß und sehr sauber. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen und werden sicherlich bald wieder nach Rio Dulce reisen.

Mitten im Dschungel, nur 3 km vom Stadtzentrum von Livingston entfernt, heißt Sie die Finca Tatin Hotel willkommen und bietet Ihnen einen großen Garten, eine möblierte Terrasse sowie einen Bereich mit... Amazing Location! The staff is exceptionally friendly, competent and always helpful when it comes to organzing your activities. The owners are easy going and a lot of fun to talk to. Food is great, too!

Die Unterkunft Linda Vista, die in Rio Dulce gelegen ist und von der aus Schloss Castillo de San Felipe de Lara in weniger als 10 km erreichbar ist, bietet einen Conciergeservice, Nichtraucher Zimmer,... Amazing stay! If you're coming to Rio Dulce this is the place to stay! Family run, very well kept place. The photos & description on booking.com don't do this place justice - it is much better than we expected! Very clean!! The pool is perfect to cool down & the rooms are spacious. We stayed for 6 nights in the end and many people came only for 1 night. This is the perfect place to slow down and relax if you have been travelling for a while like us - so we advise that you stay here for at least a few nights and enjoy the peacefulness. The owner speaks English - the rest of the staff don't but they are all very friendly and done everything to help us. They will pick you up by boat right at the shuttle stop in Rio so it is a really easy transfer to get there. Every day they took us into the town by a really nice 10 minute boat ride. They can book other trips for you - we went for a boat trip to Livingston. And they also booked our onward shuttle to Guatemala City for us. 10/10 service 👍 Rio Dulce town is crazy. The contrast between the chaos in the town and the tranquility of Linda Vista was perfect for us.

It was a very nice stay. The staff was very nice and the food was tasty (we got huge portions). We swam in the river, went zip line and kayaking. It is very quiet and pleasant around. Beautiful place. There were some mosquitoes, but that's obvious if you book a house in such a place. And the location is great.
