Taking the ferry from Perama Port in Athens to Salamis Port which is about a 20-minute trip that costs about 1.20 or 1.70 EUR/adult, then taking a bus from Salamis Port to Votsalakia Hotel about 10-15 minutes by bus with 1.70 EUR/adult ticket price. The hotel's location is amazing as the beach is just across the street. We stayed there for 7D6N in total and in between those days we rented a car which I do recommend as the island itself has a lot to offer. The breakfast was free which is always appreciated of course especially if you're staying longer than a day. Our room had a kitchenette which was good, especially with 2 kids in tow.

The father & son very friendly, supplying us with bottles water & ice. A secure place to store our cycles. Very private terrace looking over the ocean. The apartment is above a bar noise is no issue with soundproofing. Quiet aircon. We had the best sleep even that it was a busy Friday night in the town. Great big shower & lovely tiled.
