It's eccentric and characterful, with the matriarch peeling vegetables on the table in reception, surrounded by all manner of odd folk drinking beer or playing patience: a community of oddites. A Welshman and a South African, among others, all very friendly and getting on with their lives. The room was comfortable, I slept well. The bathroom was likewise fine, it was hot as hell so the aircon was a welcome relief, clean and effective. Its a bit of a one horse town but I'd definitely go back to this hotel if I came back here. When I left I missed it.

We were very pleased.
