Room was comfy, bed was super comfortable, shower was great. The view from our balcony was drop dead gorgeous! And from the room we could see the sunrise. Loved Monemvasia....something profound about walking in the old town on top. Thank you for all the help with the luggage and the super friendly welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as well!

From £197 per nightThe apartment is located in Elaia Lakonias at a very nice spot, close to Monemvasia, Elafonisos and Gytheio which can be reached in about half an hour by car. The whole building is located just in front of sea. We were given the 1st floor apartment, which is quite new and modern and which has a nice terrace from where sea view is excellent. Owners were leaving at the next apartment and were quite polite and ready to assist with anything needed.

When we arrived we got welcomed by the owner of the hotel. The room was very beautiful, cozy, clean and with a good working air conditioning. The cleaning service did every day a great job. I’m our room we had the nice balcony with a sunset on the sea every night. From our balcony we could also see the swimming pool, with the hot weather it was really nice to go for a dive there and lay in the sun. Every morning we had a good and diverse breakfast. The staff was always really nice and polite, when we were going for dinner the owner of the hotel brought us to the city center. These 2 days we experienced as more than perfect and very lovely. Thank you Elafonisos Mare for your hospitality and everything else!!

recently stayed at the Castello Antico Hotel with my family for 4 days, and I can honestly say that it was a real gem. The hotel is located in the picturesque village of Mavrovouni, on the Mani Peninsula in Greece. The setting is absolutely stunning, with the hotel overlooking a beautiful sandy beach and the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional Greek style, with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings, and traditional wooden furniture. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and all have balconies or terraces with stunning views of the sea. The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure that you have a memorable stay. The breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh local produce. The hotel also has a lovely pool area, which is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. We had a wonderful time at the Castello Antico Hotel, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in Greece. This hotel is an experience in itself. The facility is beautiful, cozy, clean, comfortable, accessible, equipped with excellent products, a pampering environment, and an attractive atmosphere. A pampering pool with a bar opens until midnight, and an accessible, clean, and private beach 10 meters from the hotel entrance. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable and decent in size. Breakfast is rich and tasty. The staff is accommodating and helpful. The location is isolated, and it is better to arrive with a rental car so that you can visit the nearby city and travel in the area.

Wow! The room was spacious, delightful and very clean with it's medieval features but modern decor. The breakfast was so nice with lots of variety. The whole of the Monemvasia village was perfect and very picturesque. We tried out the fantastic restaurants and were delighted by the local cuisine and friendly, helpful service. The bars were also great and all had amazing outlooks! Walking around was like a dream and we even had a quick dip where you could access the sea. The local museum was wonderful too. We loved it all!
