Located in Kolonaki and housed in the former Canadian Embassy, within 500 metres of Lycabettus Hill and 600 metres of Athens Music Hall, The Modernist Athens provides accommodation with a restaurant. We stayed as this lovely hotel for 3 days. It was great in every way. The building is freshly renovated, the rooms are clean and the AC works perfectly. The staff are amazing, very helpful if you ask for anything. The location is in a calm area where you can get a good night sleep but at the same time in a walking distance to the centre. Our flight back home departed very late in the evening, however they were very kind to let us take a shower at the gym area with clean towels, free water bottles even though it was way past our checkout time. All in all, a great hotel with a personal touch! Would def recommend it!
