The Staff is amazing, namely the young lady that had shown more experience, probably the responsible of Reception (I should know her name...). The way she welcomed us, recommended and booked the restaurante on our demand (and granted the booking of a table in the balcony overlooking the river), the taxi to go to Tbilisi, etc. The other staff is also very helpful on every moment. Breakfast is great with a lot of options with a good aura. This hotel is a very good value for money and a blessing to Kutaisi. A final note to the taxi driver, name Iraqi (I'm not sure how it's written), it's a fabulous person and safe driver.

Piccola e molto graziosa, con un centro storico affascinante...
Piccola e molto graziosa, con un centro storico affascinante e la cattedrale di Bagrati (UNESCO) in posizione dominante e panoramica. Vivibile, con locali e negozi, è una città allegra e vivace, ed è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare altre mete imperdibili della regione di imereti, come le Prometheus Cave, la cattedrale di Gelati, o Chiatura. Il personale dell'ufficio informazioni turistiche è estremamente preparato e gentile, e parla un ottimo inglese. In generale la seconda lingua è il russo, i giovani parlano un inglese un po' stentato, qualche anziano conosce anche il tedesco. Sono tutti disponibilissimi e pazienti! Guidano come pazzi , e attraversare la strada è pericoloso. Le automobili hanno la precedenza sui pedoni; i semafori e la segnaletica continua non sono rispettati. Ho visto dei sorpassi spaventosi

Kutaisi è una città piccola e curiosa, da scoprire. E' facile muoversi a piedi per la città, visitare il centro e i suoi musei, fare una passeggiata per raggiungere la splendida Cattedrale di Bagrati da cui è anche possibile ammirare un bellissimo panorama della città. La cucina locale è molto buona ed economica. Se possibile, è consigliabile noleggiare una macchina per andare alla scoperta delle numerose attrazioni (monasteri, siti naturali, etc.) presenti sul territorio della provincia di Imereti e in generale nelle vicinanze.
