It was NOT a cheap stay but we felt like we received the full value of what we paid. Highly recommend, especially for a splurge couple’s trip.

Overlooking Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes, the Craig Manor is 5 minute walk from Bowness. The rooms have modern decor, en suite bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. I like everything! The hotel was modern and very clean. The room is quite small but was expected, since we were just staying for a night. I felt very lucky that we got the room thats facing the lake windermere. There a lot of choices for the breakfast well, we had a very filling breakfast. Even the breakfast place had a nice view of the lake! Location is 10/10 as well, we drove a car, but we parked in hotel first then walk to town because it was just a 5-10 walk to the center.

Everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious. The bed very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. They took care of every single detail. We didn’t have to worry about anything.The food is delicious. A great place to spend your vacation. Highly recommended.
