Room was comfortable with everything you need. Free parking was more than appreciated and breakfast was great. Cathedral, town square and shops within easy walk, 5 mins. Also the restaurant next door was fantastic. Great food and friendly service.

Set in a 17th century manor house, the Orton Hall Hotel & Spa is nestled in 20 acres of mature parkland in the conservation village of Orton Longueville. The hotel is beautiful, our room was spacious and very clean. Nice park around the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, wide choice and everything was very tasty. Highly recommended.

This modern AA 4-star hotel has a gym, a spa and an indoor pool, just 5 minutes from Peterborough city centre. Good swimming pool, sauna, turco and gym. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, smoothie and the dinner menu. Good parking space.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Peterborough Rail Station, this stylish, modern hotel boasts spacious rooms with double walk-in showers and city views. Guests can also enjoy the grill restaurant and bar. Everything about this hotel was perfect for our needs. Location, accommodation, hospitality. We've stayed before and will stay again when we come back.

We had a lovely stay at the stage last night. Our room was lovely and comfortable and the bar had a great atmosphere. The owner was friendly and made us feel very welcome.

I ended up at the Black Horse after being stranded at Peterborough due to an LNER situation - I tried booking hotels in town and they had run out of spaces so I randomly chose a reasonably priced one that was accessible - which ended up being the Black Horse. It looked very nice from the photos and lived up to this image - it's a gorgeous place - an old-fashioned inn with a restaurant, bar and rooms, beautifully decorated. The young woman on duty who checked me in (I can't remember her name but she was great) was extremely welcoming, reassuring and accommodating. The dinner was exceptional - the best gluten-free fish and chips I have tasted! (Coeliacs should check if the tartare sauce is gluten free though) It was great to be so warm and well-fed in such a nice environment after being stuck on the train and then a cold platform for several hours. I'd definitely recommend this place. My room was large and comfortable with space to work and a really good shower. They even let me work remotely the next morning teaching music online no bother! (In fact I got a round of applause from the locals in bar next door when I finished :D) Altogether very friendly, comfortable, amenable and relaxed place. The young bar staff were also great - relaxed, resourceful and accommodating. I'd definitely choose to stay here if I was in the area again, absolutely.

The Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough is opposite and close to the A1. Large rooms are en suite and there are excellent leisure facilities including a pool and gym. Really comfortable and spacious rooms which are well equipped and very clean. Good beds and plenty of towels and toiletries. The hotel has a lovely spa, with a well designed pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, as well as loungers for reading. Breakfast was also plentiful and varied. big and convenient car park too, as well as polite and courteous staff.
